Our strategy entails, inter alia, the provision of commercial and social infrastructure through:
- Build, Operate and Transfer. This procurement option refers to the provision of capital investment for the conceptualisation, development and operation of new premises by a private entity for a specified period.
- Long Term Lease. This procurement option assumes that a lease of a specified period has been entered into in terms of which the landlord erects new premises to give tenancy of those premises
- Public Private Partnership. This procurement option is defined as a commercial transaction between an institution and a private entity in terms of which the private entity performs an institutional function on behalf of the institution, acquires the use of state property for its own commercial purposes, assumes substantial financial, technical and operational risks in connection with the performance of the institutional function and/or use of state property and receives benefit therefore either by way of consideration payable by the institution or charges or fees to be collected by the private entity from users or a combination thereof.
- Development and Management of Commercial and Social Infrastructure. This refers to the conclusion of contractual agreement for the development of infrastructure using own capital investment for use by either private and public entities
- Solicited and Un-solicited bidding processes. This refers to the submission of bid proposals in response to an enquiry by either a private or public entity.
- Management of retail filling station brands. This refers to the acquisition and operation of filling stations.
